Dear friends and colleagues,

I’m pleased to welcome you to the 12th edition of the annual Workshop of the multidisciplinary network SeS Redox and Catalysis, chaired by our honorary member Prof. W. Weigand.

This year’s event will once again offer a rich and dynamic scientific program. Ample space will be given to oral communications, poster presentations, and the increasingly popular poster + flash presentations. In addition, we are proud to host several invited lectures by internationally renowned speakers, ensuring a high-level and stimulating scientific exchange.

True to the spirit of this workshop, the event is entirely free of charge, with a strong focus on encouraging young researchers to participate and share their work. However, please note that, due to limited sponsorship, we are currently unable to guarantee social activities. A possible social dinner may be organized at participants' own expense, depending on interest and feasibility.

We warmly encourage you all to take part, contribute actively, and most importantly—enjoy the experience. We look forward to your participation and to a fruitful and inspiring workshop!

We are also delighted to announce that, for the first time, the international scientific committee of the network will award three prizes, dedicated to the memory of eminent scientists in the field:

• The Marcello Tiecco Prize,

• The Nicola Petrignani Prize,

• The Shuji Tomoda Prize.

These awards will recognize the most outstanding young researchers for the quality of their performance and research in the fields of organic synthesis, multidisciplinary applied synthesis, and chemical-physical aspects, respectively.
